The Monopolies and Prices Commission is a department in the Ministry of Finance headed by the Commissioner who is answerable to the Minister.

The Commissioner is in - charge of the day to day operations and activities of the Commission which is currently divided into four divisions.

The Commissioner is assisted by the deputy Commissioner who is in-charge of investigations division and three other heads of divisions; the four divisions of the Commission are; Investigations, Enforcement, Sectoral studies and Administration.

The Commission currently has a staff compliment of 32.
