DSC 0973The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Head of East Africa Division, Dr. Ralf-Matthias Mohs and the National Treasury Kenya Principal Secretary Dr. Kamau Thugge today signed a Joint Declaration of Intent on Technical Support for the Preparation of the Second High Level Meeting of Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (HLM2 of GPEDC) to be hosted from 28th November - 1st December 2016 at KICC, Nairobi.

DSC 0965Principal Secretary, National Treasury, Dr Kamau Thugge (Right) and Dr Half Matthias Mohs, Head of Division, German Federal Ministry for Economics Cooperation and Development exchange signed documents of a joint declaration of intent between The National Treasury  of the Republic of Kenya and the Government of of the Federal Republic of Germany on support of Technical Support for the preparation of the Second High Level Meeting of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (HLM2 of GPEDC) today, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the National Treasury Building in Nairobi.  Kenya will be hosting the meeting for 28th November to 1st December 2016 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in which 3,000 delegates are expected representing different countries, regions and other groups of interest from across the world. The Global  Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation was created at the Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan in 2011.
