The British High Commissioner H.E. Neil Wigan pays a courtesy call to the National Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Hon. John Mbadi

The British High Commissioner H.E. Neil Wigan earlier today  paid a courtesy call to the National Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Hon. John Mbadi at his office.  
The discussions centred on the following Strategic Partnership initiatives:
1. The Nairobi Railway City Project;
2. UK Government support for tax and Public Financial Management to the National Treasury and the Kenya Revenue Authority and he Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) initiative; and
3. Proposed reforms of the International Financial Institutions.
The CS affirmed the commitment of the Government to actively implement reforms to strengthen expenditure control, improve efficiency in public spending and enhance transparency and accountability.
Kenya values the enduring strategic partnership with the United Kingdom,as it remains a cornerstone of our economic progress and regional stability.
