Kenya, US Deepen Collaboration to strengthen National Health Systems

The National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Hon. John Mbadi alongside The Ministry of Health Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Aden Duale held a high-level engagement with  US delegation led by Ms. Susan Burns, Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy, today at the National Treasury offices in Nairobi.
The discussions centred on sustainable health financing and strategic partnerships with an agreement to establish a Joint Technical Working Group to drive collaboration and strengthen national health systems.
Also present were Principal Secretaries Dr. Chris Kiptoo (The National Treasury), Dr. Ouma Oluga (Medical Services), Ms. Mary Muthoni (Public Health and Professional Standards), among other senior officials.
