THE GLARING GLOBAL COVID-19
The year 2020 was ushered in all over the World in pomp and dance. But little did the global populace know that the daily operations were to come to a standstill shortly. The Coronavirus Pandemic dumbed as; ‘COVID-19‘, a highly contagious disease interrupted the normal life undertakings. The ‘New Normal’ lifestyle quickly emerged. International flights were banned to adhere to the mobility restrictions aimed at reducing the rampant spread of the deadly VIRUS. The Quarantine centers for the infected and affected were quickly introduced and other COVID- 19 Protocols.
The emerging nature of COVID-19 and its eventual characterization as a pandemic by World Health Organization (WHO), set in many uncertainties across the World. The disease quickly transformed into a crisis in many Countries and has continuously disrupted the social life of citizens. It has also created shocks in the economic and labor markets.

DELIVERLY OF SERVICE AMID COVID – 19 PANDEMIC PERIOD IN KENYA
The global coronavirus pandemic drastically changed the way of doing things everywhere and for everyone. New vocabularies such as ‘the new normal, sanitizers, masks, social distancing’ emerged in the entire system. We had to change our way of conducting business since the first case of the pandemic was reported in the Country on 13th March, 2020.
The Novel Covid-19 became such a scare overnight. Even greeting a colleague in the office became prohibited. Wearing of masks became the new way of life. Washing of hands quite often or use of alcohol -based sanitizer was pronounced by the Ministry of Health as the only panacea to fighting the invisible enemy, “The CORONAVIRUS.”

It became mandatory that staff had to work adhering to the new protocols of the global pandemic.
